Satisfied

JohnG

Do you see yourself as a satisfied person? What would those around you say? Deep within us a yearning pulses…a longing to experience fulfillment and purpose. What does it take for you to be satisfied? For some of us, more ‘stuff’ is the ‘well’ we draw from. How is that working out for you? For others, more money, more experiences, more…whatever is regarded as the source of satisfaction.

Yet, for many of us we end up feeling strangely empty, disappointed, and frustrated. A line from the Bible could be our personal summary: all the pursuits I engage in are ” meaningless, a chasing after the wind.” Are there times you stop and ask…’is this it?’ I want to invite you to join us on a journey of spiritual and life exploration beginning Sunday, January 12, 2014 @ 10 am. We will look at a highly respected leader’s essay on life, God and satisfaction. This could be a great way to start the new year. God wants us to live satisfied lives, and he shows us how, and the ‘how’ is rooted in a ‘who.’

Satisfied? What will it take for you in 2014?

Warmly,

John Garner, Lead Pastor
